Nelson Mandela Storyboard

Narration: Starting early in his life Mandela was invested in politics…. Beginning in the 1940’s he was a member of the African National Congress party….. Some of his duties included peaceful protests and armed resistance against the racially divided South Africa where the white minority’s held all of the power.

Narration: All of Mandela’s actions landed him in prison until he was 71 years old. When he was release he was dedicated to the elimination of apartheid in his country….. Four Years after being released Nelson Mandela became the first black president of South Africa, and spent the rest of his days forming a multiethnic government to oversee the country’s transition…. Mandela retired in 1999, but still remained devoted to the cause of peace.

Narration:……… Nelson Mandela Passed away in 2013 at the age of 95 years old. Though he is gone his memory and his devotion to peace will live on through his people and through the memories of everyone that knew of him…
